Common questions.
Does it really work offline?
Yes. The entire system runs locally on your till. No internet connection needed for sales, inventory, reports, or anything else. Internet is only required for license activation and hourly license checks.
What hardware do I need?
Any Windows PC made in the last 10 years. A USB barcode scanner (any standard one). A thermal receipt printer (80mm recommended). Optionally a cash drawer that connects via the printer.
How does multi-till work?
Install ZeroPOS as the Main Till — it hosts the database. Install on Till 2, 3, etc. and point them at the Main Till's IP address. All tills share the same products, stock, and sales in real time.
What if the internet goes down?
ZeroPOS keeps working for 3 full days offline before it locks. Once you're back online it re-validates automatically. Load shedding and brief outages don't interrupt trading.
Can I import my existing products?
Yes. Bulk import via CSV. Export your products from your old POS, drop the file into ZeroPOS, done.
Do you take a percentage of my sales?
No. ZeroPOS is a flat monthly fee per till. We never see your sales data. Your money is yours, every cent.
